ABOUT 

Beneath the Tissue is a dance film that was originally choreographed for stage, and later set for camera. In it, Carissa Songhorian works with elements such as shadow, emotive techniques, and the combination of unnatural movement with familiar gesture to create an environment where truth and desperation are unconstrained.
